Jumping the Snark
Okay, that may officially be the worst post title ever.
I think I have outgrown a certain board. This board is like a friend that I'm fond of and want to be loyal to, but whenever we talk it is all about her drama, and that drama sucks the lifeblood out of me.
I think y'all know what I'm talking about.
I'm not leaving, but I'm going to be rare, I think. I need to take care of myself, and not feed the drama llama.
(not to mention, the "other" board that I have recently joined, is so slow that I don't know how much time I can spend there. It's possible that the most you hear from me lately is on my blog.)

wherever there is people, there is madddneeessss i think.... it seems to go in cycles, from crazy intense to fun to back again. i like no longer being involved, half forgotten and blogless, wandering around like a little knitting shadow, off into the solid world again.
you had a bearded dragon once??? whoo! bearded dragons are the best. (saw that on a knitty post and got excited. i had a beardy for a few years... my cousin has about 15, she breeds them... good, proper, wild australian ones.)

Not a kerfuffle as much as a general bad atmosphere. It may just be my perception of things.

I hear you, Zanti: things just seem a rather off, don't they? I was AFK for about 4 days due to the long weekend in CAN, and I wasn't as happy to be back as I thought I'd be. I will miss seeing your posts around the board, if you do stay away: you have such a delightfully dry humour!! I love it! I'll be creeping your blog, though, enjoying your thoughts.
Apparently I don't pay enough attention to anything... but then I have a low profile on both boards.

Hee! I've been hitting "delete" so many times at the place you speak of. It's been like that for nearly a month now.
YOu're not alone. I know I've not been over there as much and have not missed it as much as I thought I would.

I promise, if you look exclusively at the sale board, the swap board, and the happy stuff board... it's really great, actually!

I too have noticed the bad juju. I'm dealing by browsing for about 19 minutes, getting bored, and then wandering off to knit some socks.
On a happy note, this is an improvement for my sock knitting speed!

You do what you need to do. I've been a little too busy figuring out my new job to notice subtle changes in tone around the board, but it's entirely possible that there is a certain amount of negativity going on. It seems to be seasonal, coming and going in cycles. If you need to get away for a while, it's a good idea to do it.
It's been a touchy summer. "Everyone's" in a snit about something or other. I hear you loud and clear. You know I'm off it for good.
