Last night I won an auction of FORTY-THREE patterns from the 1960s, all in (or near) my size!

Darn it all! The pictures are unavailable. :o( Did you know that a size 36 1960's pattern is not the same as a size 36 2000's pattern?
I'm not sure about that. . . 36 inches is 36 inches is 36 inches. The only thing that has really changed is the # on the pattern, same as with clothes (i.e, I can wear a size 12 vintage but a size 6-8 modern). A vintage 36-inch bust pattern may have a different bust-to-waist ratio than a modern patter, but I'm built more like a woman in the 50s or 60s than a modern woman, anyway.
